    Have you tried it yet?

Almond Milk silly.  Well have you?

If you haven’t and you still drink milk regularly, it’s time to give Almond Milk a whirl!

Why did I switch to Almond Milk?

So my roommate at the time would stop drinking my milk.  LOL  Seriously though, I had to find something that they wouldn’t touch so that I could save some cash!!  (They didn’t know what they were missing… 🙂

Why should YOU try Almond Milk?

Less sugar, non-dairy and fewer calories than other milks on the market.  They have chocolate and vanilla, sweetened and unsweetened.  It’s roughly $2 for a 1L, or so, container and it seems to last forever (doesn’t curdle) as it has a longer shelf life in comparison to cow’s milk.

I haven’t been a serious milk drinker since University (again, because it was freaking expensive) but, I do like to have a bowl of cereal now and then and I like some on my oatmeal.  Some of you will learn to like it in your coffee, your tea, use it for baking and maybe even enjoy a glass of it….

Try Almond Breeze Original or Vanilla Unsweetened.  The unsweetened variation has fewer calories and you really don’t notice a difference with taste.

Did you know that you can make your own Almond Milk???  Here is a link for directions in making your own Almond Milk.  http://www.thatsfit.ca/2010/05/20/homemade-almond-milk-six-easy-steps/

This recipe has been on my list of things to try out!   If you decide to try it out, or have already tried it out, make sure to leave a comment on how it went for you!
